Building consensus and advancing together. On January 20 and 21, HeYou International Hospital Group held the 2024 Management Training and Strategy Seminar to interpret the strategic development blueprint and discuss the path to high-quality hospital development.

At the seminar, Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and President of HeYou International Hospital Group, delivered a presentation on the hospital's strategy. Liu Xiaofang stated that HeYou must adhere to the construction direction of the "Four Modernizations and Eight High Standards" (i.e., Modernization, Internationalization, Digitalization, and Intelligence; High-Level Diagnostic and Treatment Capability, High-Quality Safety System, High-Precision Equipment, Highly Intelligent Software Systems, Efficient Operational System, High-Comfort Medical Environment, High-Empathy Humanistic Care, and High-Efficiency Convenient Service Process), uphold long-termism, and achieve sustainable and healthy development through the continuous efforts of generations of HeYou people, providing high-quality medical and health services to society, and realizing the founding aspiration of Mr. He Xiangjian, the founder of Midea, to "benefit the hometown and give back to society."

The seminar invited Luo Huagang, founder of Shanghai Jizhizhi Management Consulting Co., Ltd. and former senior executive of Midea Electric Appliances, to deliver a keynote lecture titled "Nurturing a Century-Old Happy Hospital with Advanced Systems and Mechanisms". Luo Huagang shared how Midea's advanced management mechanisms have enabled 55 years of cross-sector high-quality development, identifying three key breakthrough points for nurturing HeYou's century-old happy hospital: cultural integration and trust, cultivation of outstanding talent, and efficient management systems and mechanisms.

During the strategic discussion session, HeYou staff were divided into eight groups to explore how Midea's advanced systems and mechanisms can be implemented at HeYou, focusing on topics such as "Cultural and Team Integration," "Specialty Operations," "High-Quality Safe Opening," and "COE Positioning and Delegation of Authority." Everyone expressed their views, pooled their wisdom, and combined the topics with practical work, sparking ideas through "brainstorming."

In his concluding remarks, Li Li, Director of the Management Committee of HeYou International Hospital Group, pointed out that strategic planning is crucial for hospital development. He emphasized the need to actively learn from Midea's experience, establish sound systems and mechanisms to ensure the smooth implementation of strategic plans, and foster an entrepreneurial spirit to excel in hospital and departmental management, placing patients at the center to build a high-level non-profit general hospital.
