    The Beijiao Town People's Government and the Beijiao Charity Association jointly launched the Beijiao Town "Healthy Town" Charity Fund, focusing on diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular conditions. This initiative aims to progressively build a comprehensive "prevention-treatment-rehabilitation" health security service system in Beijiao Town, establishing a health protection network for citizens.HeYou Hospital is responsible for undertaking two projects: PET/CT scans for cancer and cardiovascular disease screening.

PET/CT Scan for Cancer

According to the latest data from the National Cancer Center, there were 4.8247 million new cancer cases and 2.5742 million cancer deaths in China in 2022. Focusing on the Guangdong region, the malignant tumor incidence rate is 286.7 per 100,000, higher than the national average; the mortality rate is 144.9 per 100,000, with malignant tumors being the leading cause of death among urban residents in Guangdong Province.

PET/CT scans play a crucial role in the early diagnosis, treatment planning, and efficacy evaluation of tumors. Even small tumor lesions can be visualized after absorbing the imaging agent, allowing for lesion detection. A whole-body PET/CT scan can complete a full-body screening in one session, offering greater convenience, especially for cancer screening in high-risk populations. Therefore, PET/CT is widely known as the "cancer detection tool" and the "beacon that illuminates tumors."

①Medical Condition: Individuals suspected of having tumors through routine examinations such as imaging (CT/MRI) or ultrasound; individuals with a family history of cancer combined with other high-risk factors for cancer; patients with a history of cancer treatment.

②Financial Condition: Individuals whose per capita household income is below 3.5 times the minimum subsistence standard, government-advocated entitled groups, and government-recognized award recipients.

③Residency Condition: Residents with household registration in Shunde District, or holders of a Beijiao Town residence permit for at least one year, or non-Beijiao Town residents who have continuously paid social insurance in Beijiao Town for at least one year.

④Other: Economically disadvantaged individuals from other regions.

The charity fund subsidizes the examination cost for each person undergoing a PET/CT scan by 5,000 RMB per session.
