Guard Your Health, Journey Together! HeYou Health Metro Special Train Launched

As HeYou Hospital, a key construction project of Guangdong Province, is set to open on June 28, a unique health science popularization journey has been launched in advance across Guangzhou and Foshan.

On June 21, the launch ceremony for the HeYou Health Metro Special Train was held at Meidi Dadao Station on Guangzhou Metro Line 7. Two HeYou Health Metro Special Trains were simultaneously launched on Guangzhou Metro Line 7 and the Guangfo Line, embodying the philosophy of “Upholding Integrity, Guarding Life” and conveying health knowledge and care to the citizens of Guangzhou and Foshan in a unique way.

These two health metro special trains take a healthy lifestyle as their core theme, closely following the four pillars of a healthy life — balanced diet, moderate exercise, smoking cessation and alcohol restriction, and mental health — conveying health knowledge to the public in a vivid and innovative way.

The metro carriages have been transformed into “Time Consultation Rooms,” issuing “Life Prescriptions” to passengers. Expert teams from HeYou Hospital, covering fields such as Comprehensive Cancer Center, Brain Science and Neurology, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Women's and Children's Health, and Health Management, provided professional “diagnoses” and “medical advice” for common health issues.

For example, for friends who often stay up late and drink alcohol, experts from the Health Management Center reminded that health is like a financial account; every “deposit” is an asset that requires lifelong attention and monitoring.

To enhance interactivity and fun, a creative “Life Comfort Capsule” photo spot was also set up at Meidi Dadao Station on Guangzhou Metro Line 7. This unique “capsule” contained cards promoting a healthy lifestyle, attracting many passengers to stop, experience, and take photos.

HeYou Hospital, born from the philanthropic vision of Midea founder He Xiangjian to “benefit the hometown and give back to society,” is located in Beijiao Town, Shunde District, Foshan City. It is a non-profit tertiary general hospital. The hospital will officially open for operation on June 28. On the day the HeYou Health Metro Special Train was launched, the hospital held a Media Open Day event. Nearly 20 media organizations were invited to participate, engaging in in-depth exploration to foster communication, gather professional guidance, and jointly promote the continuous optimization and improvement of hospital services.

According to reports, the HeYou Hospital project has a total construction area of 580,000 square meters, plans for 1,500 beds, and a green rate as high as 30%. It includes functional areas such as outpatient services, inpatient services, an administrative center, IMC International Medical Center, proton and heavy ion cancer treatment, academic exchange, medical research, and education and training, along with supporting dedicated talent housing for medical staff.

The hospital's outpatient hall is spacious and bright, featuring a unique grid shell structure and garden-style landscaping that brings sunlight and greenery into the hospital, creating a warm and comfortable medical environment. The outpatient services adopt a centralized diagnosis and treatment model, with each clinic area equipped with blood collection, ECG, and other facilities. Except for large-scale instrument examinations that require moving to other areas, patients can complete routine checks within their department, improving medical efficiency.

The hospital is equipped with advanced pneumatic tube and track logistics systems. The pneumatic tube system is mainly used for the rapid transport of laboratory specimens, reaching speeds of 6-8 meters per second and capable of sending up to 6 transport canisters consecutively, providing efficient logistics services for medical staff. The track logistics system focuses on transporting various medical devices, with its high load capacity and stable operation ensuring the safe delivery of medical equipment.

The hospital has introduced a range of advanced medical equipment and facilities, including high-end CT devices such as Siemens New Force and GE Apex, and the Varian Truebeam linear accelerator with HyperArc. High-definition medical imaging equipment, intelligent robots, and high-precision laboratory equipment provide strong support for medical services.

As a non-profit hospital, HeYou Hospital's outpatient and inpatient services will be integrated into the medical insurance system, with fee standards on par with public tertiary hospitals. It is committed to providing high-quality and reasonably priced medical services, effectively alleviating the burden of medical expenses on the public. All operating surpluses of the hospital will be used for hospital development, medical research, and social welfare.

HeYou Zhizhen Hospital IMC will also officially commence operations on June 28.
