Tribute to "August 1st", HeYou Hospital Delivers Health to Veterans

In celebration of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army, and to promote the social ethos of "Honoring Military Careers, Respecting Veterans," HeYou Hospital successfully held a unique "Caring for Veterans' Health Service" event on the afternoon of July 23rd. Through concrete actions, the hospital expressed its profound respect and warm care for the veterans who have selflessly dedicated themselves to the safety of the nation and its people.

A team of specialists, including Director Wang Fuke from the Department of Sports Medicine, Director Li Baomin, Chief Health Expert from the Department of Neurointervention and the Health Management Center, Director Liu Dachuan from the Department of Ophthalmology, and Director Tu Xiaoli from the Department of Stomatology, provided meticulous health services and professional medical knowledge to nearly 300 veterans around the age of 60.

At the event, sports medicine experts conducted functional movement assessments and provided guidance for the veterans, offering personalized rehabilitation advice for their potential pain issues to enhance their self-care capabilities. Neurosurgery and health management experts provided consultations on neurological diseases, preliminarily assessing any neurological abnormalities through history taking and physical examinations, and offered corresponding advice and treatment plans. Ophthalmologists used specialized equipment to perform vision tests and provided professional advice on common age-related eye diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma. Stomatology experts carefully examined the veterans' teeth, gums, and other oral tissues, patiently answering questions about dental care, prevention, and treatment of oral diseases. The atmosphere at the event was warm and cordial. The expertise and warm service attitude of the specialist team won unanimous praise from the veterans.

In addition, a special lecture titled "The Secrets of Healthy Exercise" was delivered by Director Wang Fuke from the Department of Sports Medicine. The lecture content was practical and down-to-earth, and was well-received by the veterans.
