In the golden autumn season, Guangdong HeYou International Hospital Management Group (hereinafter referred to as “HeYou”) welcomed four experts from the Mayo Clinic Global Consulting Services (i.e., “Mayo Clinic”) who traveled across the ocean. Bringing advanced medical concepts and extensive medical experience, they conducted detailed clinical visits at HeYou and offered valuable suggestions for optimizing medical services.

This visit, lasting from October 8 to October 11, marks a deeper substantive phase in the cooperation between HeYou and Mayo Clinic. Through on-site visits, face-to-face communication, and experience sharing, the Mayo Clinic experts provided HeYou with multi-faceted advice and support in quality safety and clinical practice. The two sides will work closely to jointly promote the in-depth development of international medical cooperation, committed to providing patients with higher quality, safer, and more efficient medical services.

Deepening Cooperation, Seeking Common Development

This year marks the first phase of the cooperation, primarily focusing on nursing, medical and hospital operational quality and safety, and IT infrastructure. Over the past few days, the Mayo Clinic expert team, accompanied by HeYou medical staff, participated in clinical visits and patient flow follow-ups to gain a detailed understanding of HeYou's medical service processes. At each stop, the Mayo Clinic experts listened attentively to the introductions from HeYou medical staff and frequently offered insights and suggestions. In addition to on-site visits, the two sides also conducted multiple face-to-face communication and experience-sharing sessions, engaging in in-depth discussions on medical quality, safety, and clinical practice.

It is understood that since May of this year, HeYou's IT team, nursing team, and quality control team have conducted multiple online communications and exchanges with Mayo Clinic experts. During this visit, the Mayo Clinic experts, through on-site visits and face-to-face interactions, further understood HeYou's current situation, identified areas for improvement in nursing and quality, and shared their valuable experiences, laying a solid foundation for subsequent improvement efforts.

HeYou and Mayo Clinic signed a cooperation agreement in April of this year. The scope of cooperation is broad and in-depth. Mayo Clinic will fully leverage its outstanding advantages in medical quality, safety, and clinical practice to provide HeYou with deeply customized consulting services. Through a series of innovative cooperation models, it aims to achieve deep exchange and integration of knowledge, experience, and technology.

According to the cooperation agreement, HeYou will select 14 medical, nursing, and management personnel who meet the requirements of both parties to undergo targeted training at Mayo Clinic in the United States, covering areas such as nursing, IT operations, and quality safety. At the same time, Mayo Clinic will regularly dispatch experts from its fields to provide on-site guidance at HeYou Hospital and offer remote guidance and knowledge sharing through online workshops, ensuring the continuous output and widespread application of the cooperation results.

To ensure the smooth progress of the project, HeYou and Mayo Clinic have jointly established a high-level project management committee. This committee will be responsible for comprehensively coordinating and promoting cooperation matters, ensuring that Mayo Clinic's advanced concepts and successful experiences in hospital governance, management models, quality safety, nursing practice, and IT operations can be organically integrated with HeYou's culture and management, thereby comprehensively enhancing HeYou's governance capabilities and practice levels in related fields.
