Leaders and Experts from the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Health Commission Visit HeYou Hospital for Research

On February 13, 2025, leaders and experts including Geng Yu, former Director of the Service Bureau of the National Health Commission; Wang Yu, former Deputy Director of the Policy System Reform Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Sheng Fengnian, Director of the Science and Technology Office of the Institute of Medical Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Peking Union Medical College); Song Guangxia, former Director of the Comprehensive Office of the Science and Education Department of the National Health Commission; and Xie Yu, Director of the Evaluation Department/Information Department of the Chinese Hospital Association, visited HeYou Hospital. They conducted research on the hospital's medical services, new clinical application technologies, innovative thinking, talent team cultivation, and intelligent construction.

The delegation of leaders and experts successively visited the outpatient department, inpatient department, Proton and Heavy Ion Center, library, and hospital history museum of HeYou Hospital. They inquired in detail about the hospital's daily operations, the configuration and utilization efficiency of medical equipment, and expressed high recognition for the hospital's development philosophy, workflow, and convenient and efficient medical services.

During the visit, Li Li, Secretary of the Party Committee of HeYou Hospital, reported to the leaders and experts on the hospital's plans regarding medical technology innovation, talent cultivation, and discipline construction, as well as the current difficulties and challenges faced. The leaders and experts listened carefully to the report and provided valuable opinions and suggestions for the hospital's future development direction. They believed that the hospital should continuously strengthen the cultivation of a talent echelon for scientific and technological innovation, actively reserve research and development projects for new medical technologies, new methods, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment that meet the people's growing health service needs. They also suggested accelerating the transformation and application of scientific research achievements, taking the upcoming “15th Five-Year Plan” as an opportunity to further enhance the technological content and application effectiveness of medical services. At the same time, the hospital should focus on and strengthen talent team cultivation and construction, introduce high-level medical talents, and provide a solid talent guarantee for the hospital's long-term development.

This research has broadened the horizons of HeYou Hospital. The hospital will continuously improve its medical service level and technological innovation capabilities to make greater contributions to safeguarding the life and health of the people.
