Professor Cao Shiping, Director of Cardiology, Delivers Lecture to Midea Employees: Acute Chest Pain First Aid and Prevention Guide

On February 26, at the invitation of Midea Headquarters, Professor Cao Shiping, Director of Cardiology, delivered a special lecture titled "Common Causes of Acute Chest Pain and First Aid Principles" to employees. Drawing on years of clinical experience, Professor Cao provided an in-depth yet accessible explanation of the common causes, typical symptoms, and golden treatment window for acute chest pain. He particularly emphasized that workplace populations, due to high work pressure and irregular routines, are more prone to neglecting cardiovascular health issues, and shared practical prevention and first aid knowledge to help employees enhance their vigilance and response capabilities regarding acute chest pain.

The event also featured a hands-on first aid training session. Under the guidance of nurses Zhou Chengke and Liu Yue from the Health Examination Center, employees actively participated, gaining practical experience and mastering basic first aid skills, thereby enhancing their ability to respond to sudden cardiovascular events.

This activity not only helped Midea employees improve their awareness of cardiovascular health issues such as acute chest pain but also strengthened their ability to provide self-aid and mutual rescue in emergencies, building a solid line of defense for employee health.
