Sports Rehabilitation "Golden Combination" Leads Precision Treatment Innovation

On February 27, 2025, the academic seminar jointly hosted by HeYou Hospital and the MOTION Research Institute concluded successfully. The conference focused on the “Combined Therapy of Focused Shock Wave (FSW)® and High-Energy Laser Lightforce,” attracting nearly 50 scholars and experts to explore cutting-edge sports rehabilitation technologies and promote the deep integration of clinical treatment and scientific research.

Director Yu Lehua from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Director Wang Fuke from the Department of Sports Medicine at HeYou Hospital delivered opening remarks for this seminar.

Director Yu Lehua noted: “The combined therapy significantly accelerates soft tissue repair through precise regulation of energy effects, demonstrating outstanding outcomes in the treatment of rotator cuff injuries and chronic pain, providing a new pathway for individualized rehabilitation plans.” Director Wang Fuke elaborated on the technical advantages: “The dual-energy targeted action can rapidly activate cellular repair mechanisms without increasing tissue burden, helping athletes return to the field efficiently, which is highly aligned with our hospital’s philosophy of ‘precise intervention + rapid recovery.’” Both experts agreed that technological integration and localized adaptation are the core directions for the future development of rehabilitation medicine and sports medicine.

The seminar course was led by Spanish sports rehabilitation expert Dr. Ignasi, analyzing the combined therapy through four key modules:

Scientific Principles: Analyzing the biomechanical effects of shock waves and the photobiomodulation mechanism of lasers to reveal the logic of synergistic enhancement;

Global Practice: Sharing international cases such as Achilles tendon repair in tennis players and fascia pain treatment in triathletes;

Local Exploration: Discussing technical adaptability and efficacy optimization strategies based on the characteristics of patients in South China;

Practical Empowerment: Simulating clinical scenarios to guide parameter settings and operational key points, enhancing the efficiency of technology translation.

This conference highlighted HeYou’s innovation and foresight in the field of sports rehabilitation. In the future, the hospital will continue to deepen international cooperation, building a full-cycle rehabilitation system of “precise assessment — combined intervention — intelligent tracking,” providing safer and more efficient solutions for patients and athletes.
