Distinguished Alumni Delegation from Hunan Normal University Visits HeYou Hospital to Explore New Pathways for Healthcare Cooperation

On the afternoon of March 15, a delegation of 15 distinguished alumni from Hunan Normal University in Foshan visited HeYou International Hospital Group for an inspection and exchange. The visit, themed “Deepening Cooperation, Discussing Health”, explored new opportunities for collaboration in the healthcare field through on-site visits, special lectures, and symposiums. Li Li, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of HeYou International Hospital Group, accompanied the delegation.

The alumni delegation first visited the panoramic sand table in the hospital administration building to gain a systematic understanding of the hospital's planning, layout, and development vision. They then toured the outpatient complex, examining key areas such as the smart service hall, the premium health check-up center, modern wards, and the International Medical Center (IMC). The hospital's patient-centered design philosophy, intelligent management system, and internationally leading medical equipment received high praise from the delegation. The Sports Medicine Center's demonstration of minimally invasive orthopedic techniques and rehabilitation systems further highlighted the forward-thinking nature of its disciplinary development.

The event specially invited Professor Wang Fuke, a renowned physician from Yunnan, Vice Chairman of the Sports Medicine Committee of the Foshan Medical Association, Chairman of the Sports Medicine Committee of the Shunde Medical Association, and Director of the Second Department of Orthopedics (Sports Medicine) at HeYou Hospital, to deliver a special lecture. As a leading authority in sports medicine, Professor Wang Fuke gave a talk titled “Scientific Exercise and Joint Health,” explaining the concept of integrating sports and medicine with clinical cases. He proposed the core viewpoint that “exercise prescriptions need to be personalized,” and demonstrated injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques on-site. The lecture sparked lively interaction, with alumni representatives stating that it “provided a systematic solution for daily health management.”

During the symposium, Zhou Zhanpeng, the head of the Hunan Normal University Foshan Alumni Association, praised HeYou Hospital as a “healthcare benchmark in the Greater Bay Area,” emphasizing its characteristic of “valuing both technical strength and humanistic care.” Secretary Li Li stated that HeYou Hospital, built with a 10-billion-yuan investment from Midea Holdings, is accelerating its development into a world-class tertiary general hospital. He expressed anticipation for deepening cooperation with universities and alumni resources to explore long-term linkage mechanisms in talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, and health management.

Currently, the hospital has recruited over 50 academic leaders and more than 160 senior-level specialists, covering core fields such as oncology, orthopedics, and sports medicine, empowering regional medical standards with a top-tier talent team.
