Vice President Zeng Jinsheng of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University Visits HeYou Hospital, Outlining a New Vision for Scientific Research Collaboration

A delegation of six, including Zeng Jinsheng, Vice President of FAH-SYSU and leading figure in neuroscience; Feng Huiyu, Director of the Neurology ICU and Head of the Neuroimmunology Subspecialty at FAH-SYSU; Zhang Jian, Deputy Director of the Cerebrovascular Disease Department and Head of the Clinical Research Office of Neurology at FAH-SYSU; Huang Xin, CAR-NK Project Liaison for the Neurology Department of FAH-SYSU; Zeng Haoyu, Chairman and CEO of Guangdong ProCell; and Li Jianxi, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong ProCell, toured areas including the outpatient hall, smart wards, neurological intensive care unit, and academic lecture hall of HeYou Hospital. The hospital's design philosophy, which integrates smart healthcare with humanistic care, left a profound impression on the experts.

During the symposium, Sun Yang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of HeYou Hospital, introduced the hospital's basic information, discipline development, talent team, and research planning progress. Subsequently, Liu Xiaofang, Director of HeYou International Hospital Group Management Committee and President of HeYou Hospital; Vice President Zheng Qijin; Director of Neurology Ding Chengyun; Director of Medical Affairs Jiang Li; and Director of the Clinical Medical Research Center Zong Rui, engaged in in-depth discussions with the visiting experts on Chimeric Antigen Receptor Natural Killer Cell (CAR-NK) therapy.

Currently, some companies in the United States are conducting CAR-NK-related research, but progress has been slow. China is currently advancing alongside the U.S. in the field of cell therapy. During the 2025 Two Sessions, the cell health industry received significant attention from representatives, who proposed suggestions such as “accelerating the approval of new cell therapy drugs” and “promoting the development of the entire industry chain to enhance domestic innovation capabilities.” We must seize the opportunity to actively advance research in the field of cell therapy, helping to enhance China's competitiveness in the global biomedical market and better serve patients.
