Foshan Health Education Association Visits HeYou Hospital to Establish Medical Public Welfare Action Alliance

On the afternoon of July 24, 2025, Li Xijuan, President of the Foshan Health Education Association, led a delegation of 20 members to visit HeYou Hospital. As a benchmark organization with the mission of "Promoting the Professional Development of Health," the association, established in 2015, has consistently adhered to the principle of "Serving the Government, Building Platforms for Enterprises, and Delivering Tangible Benefits to the People." Through ten core functions including health education lectures, academic exchanges, and member services, it continuously drives the professional advancement of health initiatives. This visit aimed to deepen cooperation in health science popularization and medical service innovation, jointly ushering in a new chapter of medical public welfare with HeYou Hospital.

Accompanied by hospital representatives, the delegation conducted an in-depth tour of key areas including the Health Examination Center, Blood Purification Center, Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber, and Cardiovascular Medical Center. Our hospital representatives elaborated on the hospital's top-level design: As a non-profit tertiary general hospital funded by Midea Holdings with an investment of tens of billions, the 580,000-square-meter campus houses 48 discipline clusters and 1,500 beds, with a green coverage rate of 30%, creating a "Park-style Healing Space." Currently, the hospital employs over 160 full-time senior specialists and more than 50 discipline leaders, providing international-standard medical services to residents of the Greater Bay Area.

During the symposium, Professor Li Baomin, Director of the Interventional Neurology Department and Chief Health Specialist of the Health Management Center, delivered an insightful and accessible science lecture titled "Understanding and Preventing Stroke in 2025":

✅ Directly Addressing the Nature of the Disease: Using vivid analogies such as "The brain accounts for only 5% of body weight but consumes 20% of oxygen supply," he explained the fatal risks of stroke (sudden cerebrovascular dysfunction);

✅ Identifying Prevention and Treatment Blind Spots: Through real cases (e.g., hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage having the highest disability rate, blind anticoagulation in atrial fibrillation patients leading to cerebral hemorrhage), he warned against "self-neglect of early symptoms" and proposed a four-tier prevention strategy.

The lecture received an enthusiastic response, with association representatives praising: "Professor Li has transformed complex medical knowledge into a practical life guide, setting a benchmark for health science popularization in communities!"

President Li Xijuan highly commended HeYou Hospital's high-quality medical resources and social responsibility: "Having operated in Foshan for a decade, the association connects a platform of over 200 health lectures annually and resources from hundreds of communities, yet has always sought professional medical support. ✅ Medical Resource Collaboration: Providing association members with expedited medical access and health management support.
