Shunde New Social Stratum Association Longevity Medicine Health Center Inaugurated, Building a New Ecosystem for Full-Cycle Health Management

On the afternoon of August 6, under the guidance of the Shunde District Committee of the United Front Work Department, the Shunde New Social Stratum Association Longevity Medicine Health Center Inauguration Ceremony and the “7+2” Visit to HeYou Hospital and New Social Stratum Association Lecture Hall event, themed “United in Heart and Strength, Shunde in Virtue and Power,” were held at HeYou Hospital. The event was jointly organized by the Shunde New Social Stratum Association (hereinafter referred to as the New Social Stratum Association) and HeYou Hospital, and hosted by the Shunde New Social Stratum Association Big Health Club, marking a key step for Shunde in exploring longevity medicine and full-cycle health management.

At the ceremony, Wu Jiaying, Deputy Director of the Shunde District Committee of the United Front Work Department; Liu Xiaofang, President of HeYou Hospital; Zong Rui, Director of the Clinical Medical Research Center; Wu Zhaoheng, President of the Shunde New Social Stratum Association; Executive Vice Presidents Li Chaotang and Luo Yongdong; and Vice President and Minister of the Big Health Club Wang Guoqiang jointly inaugurated the Longevity Medicine Health Center.

The Longevity Medicine Health Center is jointly established by the New Social Stratum Association and HeYou Hospital, serving as an innovative platform that integrates government guidance, hospital expertise, and social organizational vitality. The center is strategically positioned with the “Integration of Advanced Medical Technology and Modern Biotechnology,” focusing on four core areas: aging intervention and chronic disease management, sudden death risk screening, science popularization and exchange, and industrial collaboration. It is dedicated to demonstrating the application of longevity medicine, accelerating the translation and implementation of modern longevity medicine achievements in Shunde, and promoting the coordinated development of the regional biomedical industry.

Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the HeYou International Hospital Group Management Committee and President of HeYou Hospital, emphasized in his speech that longevity is not merely an extension of life but an enhancement of health quality.

This collaboration represents an innovative integration of high-quality medical resources and social forces. We look forward to achieving three breakthroughs through this platform:

First, technology benefiting the people, transforming cutting-edge scientific health experiences into longevity medicine application demonstrations that benefit the public; second, industry empowerment, connecting biomedical enterprises with investment and financing institutions to incubate more health industry projects; third, social benefits, through activities such as the “Health Lecture Hall,” bringing the concept of scientific longevity into thousands of households.

President Liu Xiaofang stated that HeYou Hospital will continue to introduce first-class technologies and work with the New Social Stratum Association to build a full-cycle health management system of “Prevention - Treatment - Rehabilitation - Longevity.”

Gathering Top Experts to Empower Health Services

At the ceremony, Zong Rui, Director of the Clinical Medical Research Center at HeYou Hospital, was appointed as the Executive Minister of the New Social Stratum Association Big Health Club and Director of the Longevity Medicine Health Center.

The center integrates the high-quality expert resources of HeYou Hospital and the New Social Stratum Association Big Health Club, covering over 40 specialized fields including oncology, neuroscience, and maternal and child medicine, providing strong intellectual support for longevity medicine research and health services.

The first batch of appointed experts includes Xie Zhiquan, Director of the Geriatrics Department at HeYou Hospital; Wang Fuke, Director of the Second Orthopedics Department; Wu Shengge, Director of the First Neurology Ward and Medical Director of the Stroke Center at Tongjiang Hospital; Zhou Qiong, President of Shunde Qikang Hospital; and Luo Ermei, Director of the Stem Cell Laboratory at HeYou Hospital.

The event also featured the New Social Stratum Association Health Lecture Hall. Experts including Li Baomin, Xie Zhiquan, Wang Fuke, Zong Rui from HeYou Hospital, and Wu Shengge from Tongjiang Hospital engaged in in-depth sharing and exchange on hot topics such as health management, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease prevention and treatment, sports medicine, sleep management, and aging intervention, providing the public with cutting-edge and practical health knowledge.

Co-building the “Healthy China” Shunde Model, Demonstrating Commitment

The establishment of the Shunde New Social Stratum Association Longevity Medicine Health Center is not only a pioneering exploration in the field of longevity medicine in Shunde but also a vivid practice of collaborative innovation among the government, hospitals, and social forces to implement the “Healthy China” strategy.

Wu Zhaoheng, President of the Shunde New Social Stratum Association, stated that the establishment of the center reflects the New Social Stratum Association’s inheritance of the Shunde entrepreneurial spirit of “daring to be the first and pragmatic and enterprising,” and its embodiment of uniting forces to serve society. In the future, the focus will be on advancing three key tasks: building an innovation consortium of “Medicine - Research - Industry - Education” to promote the industrialization of longevity technology; establishing member health management records to provide customized health plans; and launching a series of “Health into Enterprises” activities to help build healthy workplaces. We hope the center will become a benchmark for the big health industry in Shunde, allowing citizens to enjoy high-quality services.
