Foshan Economic Management Association Visits HeYou Hospital to Explore New Opportunities in Health and Development

Recently, President Ai Ming of the Foshan Economic Management Association, Party Branch Secretary Yu Liangjian, and representatives from over ten member enterprises visited HeYou Hospital for an exchange activity themed “Exploring New Opportunities in Health and Development”. This event aimed to strengthen communication and collaboration between enterprises and medical institutions, jointly exploring innovative models and development opportunities in health management and medical services.

As a high-level non-profit general hospital funded by Midea Holdings with an investment exceeding ten billion yuan, HeYou Hospital has attracted significant attention since its inception. Designed according to the standards of domestic Grade III Level A general hospitals and international quality certification systems, the hospital has a total construction area of 580,000 square meters, plans for 1,500 beds, a greening rate of 30%, and features multiple functional areas including outpatient services, inpatient care, an international medical center, and an administrative center.

Guided by hospital staff, the association representatives toured the main clinical departments and cutting-edge medical facilities, including the under-construction proton and heavy ion integrated therapy system. This “cancer-fighting weapon” is expected to complete equipment commissioning in 2026 and commence clinical trials in 2027, bringing new hope for precision cancer treatment. Meanwhile, the hospital's intelligent construction was also impressive, with applications such as smart medical insurance for face-scanning medical visits, a track logistics system, medical robots, and automatic dispensing machines making medical services more efficient and convenient.

During the symposium, HeYou Hospital introduced its development positioning of “Specialized Departments, Comprehensive Strength”, highlighting its key centers of excellence such as the Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Brain Science and Neuroscience Center, and the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center, as well as achievements in talent team building.

Currently, the hospital has gathered over 50 discipline leaders and more than 160 senior specialists, providing a solid foundation for high-quality medical services. The meeting also invited Professor Zhang Tiemin, Director of the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department, to deliver a lecture on gastrointestinal health maintenance, which greatly benefited the attendees.

Addressing the practical needs of corporate health management, HeYou Hospital has launched customized corporate health service plans, covering a series of programs such as employee health check-ups, health lectures, psychological support, and green medical access channels, helping enterprises enhance employee health levels and work efficiency, achieving a true “health productivity”.
