Minimally Invasive Fracture Treatment

Minimally invasive fracture treatment techniques utilize positioning, navigation, and other methods to reconstruct bone structures while minimizing damage to the soft tissues surrounding the fracture. The minimally invasive fracture treatment techniques performed in the department include: combined mini-incision mini-plate fixation for complex scapular fractures; MIPPO technique combined with PHILOS plate for minimally invasive treatment of proximal humeral fractures; closed reduction and intramedullary nailing for fractures of the humerus, femoral shaft, and tibia; closed reduction and PFNA for intertrochanteric femoral fractures; and Less Invasive Stabilization System (LISS) for distal femoral and proximal tibial fractures.
