      Ms. Li, a 60-year-old female

      After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2017, she underwent surgery and chemotherapy, but the disease still progressed. The metastatic lesions in the neck and chest had progressed to nearly 10cm. The large mass was accompanied by copious purulent discharge, and her right arm showed severe edema due to tumor compression.

    • Treatment Process

      The HeYou Comprehensive Cancer Center promptly organized a multidisciplinary consultation, led by Vice President Lu Jiade. The team, headed by the Department of Radiation Oncology and including experts from Medical Oncology, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dermatology, Interventional Radiology, Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Wound Ostomy Clinic, and Nutrition, developed a personalized treatment plan based on Ms. Li's treatment history over the past five years: radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy to precisely and comprehensively eliminate the tumor, while simultaneously using symptomatic medication and wound care to significantly improve the patient's quality of life. During the treatment process, the oncology team flexibly adjusted the radiotherapy field based on tumor shrinkage, and the nursing team meticulously performed debridement, gradually removing necrotic tissue.
