Chairperson, Ultrasound Professional Committee, Guangdong Women Doctors Association; Vice Chairperson, Ultrasound Physician Branch, Guangdong Medical Doctor Association; Vice Chairperson, Thyroid Disease Committee, Guangdong Health Management Association; Standing Member, Superficial Vascular Ultrasound Committee, Chinese Society of Ultrasound in Medicine; Prof. Cong serves as the director of the Department of Ultrasound. She specializes in thyroid ultrasound diagnosis. She led the formulation of the Guangdong Provincial Thyroid Ultrasound Diagnostic Specifications and has delivered numerous lectures at national and international professional conferences. As the principal investigator of national continuing education projects, she has successfully organized eight annual training courses on thyroid diseases and their academic advancements, establishing a strong brand influence. She actively promotes the appropriate technology of the Provincial Health Commission—the Technical Specifications for Thyroid Ultrasound. With longterm frontline clinical experience, she performs over 5,000 ultrasound examinations and provides consultations for more than 600 complex cases annually.
