Department Introduction
Gastrointestinal Surgery focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of gastric, colorectal, small intestinal, hernia, and abdominal wall diseases. The department adheres to the principles of standardized radical tumor treatment and functional preservation, deeply integrating minimally invasive surgery with Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) concepts.
The department has an experienced and highly skilled medical team dedicated to providing internationally advanced, safe, and efficient diagnostic and treatment services for patients with gastrointestinal tumors, acute abdomen, inflammatory bowel disease, functional bowel disease (intractable constipation), various anorectal diseases, and abdominal wall hernias.

Total Laparoscopic Radical Gastrointestinal Tumor Surgery
Routine total laparoscopic radical gastrectomy (including D2 lymph node dissection), laparoscopic radical colorectal cancer surgery, and colorectal NOSES (Natural Orifice Specimen Extraction Surgery) are performed at a leading national level, significantly improving patients' postoperative quality of life.

Minimally Invasive and Painless Treatment of Anorectal Diseases
Comprehensive surgical treatment and minimally invasive procedures for various anorectal diseases are fully implemented, such as Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids (PPH/STARR) and Tissue-Selecting Therapy stapler (TST). A comprehensive multimodal pain management protocol is implemented, including preoperative multimodal analgesia planning, precise intraoperative anesthesia with long-acting analgesics, and standardized postoperative pain assessment with a stepwise medication regimen to alleviate suffering.
