Department Introduction

HeYou Hospital Radiotherapy Department possesses comprehensive treatment systems and outstanding capabilities in the field of national oncology radiotherapy.

Scope of diagnosis and treatment covers all types of malignant tumors and some benign diseases:

Central Nervous System Tumors: Glioma, Meningioma, Pituitary Tumor, Acoustic Neuroma, Craniopharyngioma, Pineal Tumor, all intracranial and spinal nerve tumors, etc.

Head and Neck Tumors: Ocular Tumors, Nasal and Sinus Tumors, Nasopharyngeal Tumors, Oropharyngeal Tumors, Hypopharyngeal Tumors, Laryngeal Tumors, Oral Tumors, Ear Tumors, Salivary Gland Tumors, Thyroid Tumors, Skull Base and Cervical Spine Chordoma and Chondrosarcoma, Cervical Metastasis of Unknown Primary, and all other head, neck, and skull base tumors.

Thoracic Tumors: Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, Esophageal Cancer, Mediastinal Tumors (e.g., Thymoma), etc.

Abdominal Tumors: Liver Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Gallbladder and Bile Duct Cancer, Gastric Cancer, Rectal Cancer, and other digestive system tumors.

Genitourinary Tumors: Prostate Cancer, Bladder Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Endometrial Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Kidney Cancer, Adrenal Gland Tumors, etc.

Various Systemic Tumors: Bone Tumors, Cartilage Tumors, Soft Tissue Sarcoma, Malignant Melanoma, Certain Types of Lymphoma, Metastatic Tumors (e.g., Brain Metastasis, Bone Metastasis), etc.

  • Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)

    Provides one-stop service, formulating precise diagnosis and treatment plans for patients through Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).

  • Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT/VMAT)

    IMRT technology can precisely control the distribution of radiation dose, enabling radiation to more accurately target the tumor area and reduce damage to surrounding normal tissues. This advanced treatment method significantly improves treatment outcomes and patient quality of life.

  • Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SBRT/SRS)

    SRS is a highly precise radiotherapy technique suitable for treating small and complex tumors. This technology uses high doses of radiation to concentrate on tumor cells in a very short time, minimizing damage and side effects to patients.

  • Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT)

    IGRT utilizes real-time imaging technology to precisely locate and track tumor position changes during treatment. The effective combination of this technology with the aforementioned IMRT/VMAT and SBRT/SRS can reduce movement caused by changes in the body or tumor during daily treatment, improving treatment accuracy and efficacy, reducing damage to surrounding normal tissues, and making treatment safer and more efficient.

  • Adaptive Radiotherapy (ART)

    ART is a dynamically adjusted radiotherapy method that can adjust the treatment plan in real-time based on tumor changes during the patient's treatment course. ART ensures that each treatment achieves the most conformal effect targeting the tumor while maximizing the protection of healthy tissues.

  • Proton and Heavy Ion Radiotherapy (Under Construction)

    It is the most advanced and cutting-edge radiotherapy technology internationally, capable of "precisely targeting" tumor lesions and greatly reducing damage to normal tissues. At the same time, it can effectively treat malignant tumors that are insensitive to conventional radiotherapy. The HeYou Hospital Proton and Heavy Ion Center is planned to be completed and begin clinical trials in 2026, offering both proton and heavy ion radiotherapy services.
