Tribute to Angels in White! HeYou International Hospital Project Sends Blessings with "Light Show"

August 19 marks the fifth Chinese Physicians' Day. To express respect for physicians, from August 17 to 19, for three consecutive evenings, the HeYou International Hospital Project, in collaboration with Midea Commercial, illuminated the LED screen at Beijiao Yueran Plaza, using a brilliant light show to pay tribute to medical workers and celebrate a happy Physicians' Day for all doctors in the city.

At 7:00 PM, as night fell, the light show at Beijiao Yueran Plaza commenced. Colorful lights were lit and changed in succession. Against a blue backdrop, the messages “Midea Commercial & HeYou International Hospital Wishes All City Physicians a Happy Holiday” and “Upholding Integrity, Guarding Life” scrolled continuously, conveying festive blessings to all physicians in the city and making the urban night sky even more brilliant.The light show attracted many citizens to stop and watch.

Revering Life, Adhering to a Patient-Centered Approach

To vigorously promote the noble spirit of Chinese physicians “revering life, saving lives and healing the wounded, being willing to contribute, and showing boundless love,” on the afternoon of August 18, the HeYou International Hospital Project held the 2022 Chinese Physicians' Day Theme Conference. The event honored the “First HeYou Most Beautiful Physicians” and paid tribute to medical workers fighting on the front lines, wishing them a happy holiday.

“I volunteer to dedicate myself to the health cause of humanity; consciously uphold the dignity and sanctity of medicine; revere life, save lives and heal the wounded, treat all with equality and benevolence, respect teachers and value ethics; be honest and trustworthy, adhere to medical ethics, strive for excellence, and think carefully and act resolutely; these vows, born from the heart, are put into practice.” At the conference, Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and President of HeYou International Hospital, together with discipline leaders Professor Lu Jiade, Professor Zheng Qijin, Professor Wang Jianming, Professor Wang Yu, and Dr. Liu Ming, took the stage to lead the oath, guiding all HeYou physicians in a solemn pledge to reaffirm the Physician's Declaration.

In his address, Professor Liu Xiaofang extended festive greetings to all physicians in the hospital. He encouraged all hospital physicians to consciously uphold the sincerity, nobility, and honor of the medical profession, strive to safeguard health, and actively promote harmony; to continuously strengthen learning, focusing on meeting patients' multi-level and personalized health needs, and work hard to build the hospital's distinctive brand and core competitiveness; and to continue strengthening the construction of medical ethics, striving to provide patients with comprehensive humanistic care, adopting a patient-centered approach to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship, and endeavor to create a globally renowned hospital that the government trusts, the industry admires, the public recognizes, and employees are loyal to, building a “Ship of Life, Harbor for Medical Staff, and Sail for Leadership.”

Li Li, Director of the Management Committee of the HeYou International Hospital Project, stated that he hopes all hospital physicians will uphold the public welfare original intention of Midea's founder, Mr. He Xiangjian, of “benefiting the hometown and giving back to society,” adopt a patient-centered approach, and ensure that patients can seek medical treatment with dignity and doctors can practice medicine with dignity.
