Tribute to Angels in White! HeYou International Hospital Project Sends Blessings with "Light Show"

August 19 marks the fifth Chinese Doctors' Day. To express respect for physicians, from August 17 to 19 for three consecutive nights, the HeYou International Hospital Project, in collaboration with Midea Commercial, illuminated the LED screen at Beijiao Yueyang Plaza, using a brilliant light show to pay tribute to medical workers and celebrate the city's physicians on their special day.

At 7:00 PM, as night fell, the light show at Beijiao Yueyang Plaza commenced. Colorful lights flickered and transformed in succession. Against a blue backdrop, the messages “Midea Commercial & HeYou International Hospital Wish All Physicians a Happy Doctors' Day” and “Upholding Integrity, Protecting Life” scrolled continuously, conveying festive blessings to all physicians in the city and making the urban night sky even more radiant.The light show attracted many citizens who stopped to watch.

Revering Life, Adhering to a Patient-Centered Approach

To vigorously promote the noble spirit of Chinese physicians — “revering life, saving lives and healing the wounded, being willing to contribute, and showing boundless love” — on the afternoon of August 18, the HeYou International Hospital Project held the 2022 Chinese Doctors' Day Thematic Conference. The event honored the “First HeYou Most Beautiful Physicians” and paid tribute to medical workers on the front lines, wishing them a happy holiday.

“I volunteer to dedicate myself to the cause of human health; consciously uphold the dignity and sanctity of medicine; revere life, save lives and heal the wounded, treat all with equality and benevolence, respect teachers and value the Way; be honest and trustworthy, abide by medical ethics, strive for excellence, and be prudent and diligent; these vows, from the heart, are put into practice.” At the conference, Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and President of HeYou International Hospital, along with discipline leaders Professor Lu Jiade, Professor Zheng Qijin, Professor Wang Jianming, Professor Wang Yu, and Dr. Liu Ming, took the stage to lead the oath, guiding all HeYou physicians in a solemn pledge to reaffirm the Physician's Declaration.

In his address, Professor Liu Xiaofang extended festive greetings to all physicians in the hospital. He encouraged them to consciously uphold the sincerity, nobility, and honor of the medical profession, striving to safeguard health and actively promote harmony; to continuously strengthen learning, focusing on meeting patients' multi-level and personalized health needs as a starting point, and working to build the hospital's distinctive brand and core competitiveness; and to continue enhancing medical ethics and conduct, striving to provide patients with comprehensive humanistic care, adopting a patient-centered approach to build harmonious doctor-patient relationships, and working to create a globally renowned hospital that the government trusts, the industry admires, the public recognizes, and employees are loyal to, building “A Vessel of Life, A Harbor for Medical Staff, A Sail to Lead the Way.”

Li Li, Director of the Management Committee of the HeYou International Hospital Project, stated that he hopes all physicians in the hospital will uphold the philanthropic初心 of Midea's founder, He Xiangjian, of “benefiting the hometown and giving back to society,” and adhere to a patient-centered approach, ensuring that patients can seek medical treatment with dignity and doctors can practice medicine with dignity.
