HeYou International Hospital Group Academic Committee Established and Member Appointment Meeting Convened

On the afternoon of December 20, the HeYou International Hospital Group Academic Committee Establishment and Member Appointment Meeting was convened at the Administrative Center. Over twenty experts, including Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the Group Management Committee and President, and Wang Jianming, Vice President, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Lu Jiade, Vice President and Chairman of the Academic Committee.

Chairman Lu Jiade introduced the background and original intention for establishing the HeYou International Hospital Group Academic Committee. The Academic Committee is the highest academic body within the hospital. It is an academic review, deliberation, and decision-making advisory body composed of relevant hospital leaders and expert representatives. It serves to strengthen the central role of experts and scholars in the hospital's academic work, promote academic democracy, and ensure standardized and scientific academic decision-making. The Academic Committee shall follow academic laws, respect academic freedom and equality, encourage academic innovation, promote academic development and talent cultivation, and improve academic quality. It shall perform its duties fairly, justly, and transparently to promote the scientific development of the hospital.

Jian Gang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Education, and External Cooperation, introduced the responsibilities of the Academic Committee. These responsibilities include academic review, academic evaluation, academic integrity maintenance, clinical research project review, and, upon entrustment by the Hospital Management Committee, deliberation and consultation on other significant matters involving academic issues.

Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the Group Management Committee and President, presented the appointment letter to Lu Jiade as Chairman. The Chairman and Vice Chairmen then presented appointment letters to the attending committee members. The meeting reviewed and approved the "Hospital Scientific Research Achievement Reimbursement Management Measures," providing support for researchers to produce scientific and technological achievements.

In the future, HeYou International Hospital Group will continuously explore new approaches. It will fully leverage the important role of experts from various specialties within the Academic Committee in hospital discipline construction, academic evaluation, academic development, and academic integrity cultivation.
