September 14 (the second Saturday of September each year) is World First Aid Day, with this year's theme being "First Aid and Sports." On the occasion of World First Aid Day, to popularize first aid knowledge and enhance the public's ability to self-rescue and mutual aid, the training team led by the Emergency Department of HeYou Hospital successfully held a series of first aid skills training activities.

From September 5 to 6, at the invitation of the Foshan Municipal Public Security Bureau, HeYou Hospital organized a training team composed of departments including Emergency, Nursing, Outpatient, Cardiology, and ICU to visit the Foshan Police Training School, providing first aid training to over 400 newly recruited police officers of the Foshan Municipal Public Security Bureau. During the training, the medical team utilized professional equipment and combined practical cases to explain first aid knowledge and operational skills in detail. Through hands-on practice, the new police officers mastered first aid skills and enhanced their emergency response capabilities. This activity strengthened medical-police cooperation, jointly contributing to the protection of urban safety.

On September 13, medical staff from the Emergency Department of HeYou Hospital visited the Foshan Zhonghuang Xingyu Hong Kong and Macao Children's School, providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) first aid training to nearly 100 teachers and students. Through interactive Q&A and simulated operations, the training greatly stimulated students' enthusiasm for learning first aid knowledge, enhancing their safety awareness and self-rescue and mutual aid capabilities.

This series of activities not only responded to the call of World First Aid Day but also promoted the widespread dissemination of first aid skills in society. In the future, the emergency team of HeYou Hospital will continue to deepen first aid education, conducting more diversified and community-needs-oriented first aid training courses, making first aid knowledge accessible, and striving to realize the beautiful vision of "Everyone Learns First Aid, First Aid for Everyone," contributing to building a safer and healthier social environment.
