HeYou Hospital Successfully Passed the On-site Review for the Guangdong Provincial Tertiary Trauma Center Construction Unit

The review panel was led by Yu Bin, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Trauma Medical Quality Control Center and Chairman-elect of the Chinese Medical Association's Traumatology Branch. Other members included Li Guoying, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Guangdong Medical Association; Li Songjian, Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Orthopedic Trauma Branch; Zhao Liang, Member of the Orthopedics Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association; and Liu Qianjun from the Guangdong Provincial Trauma Medical Quality Control Center. The review was accompanied by Zhang Shengyi, Party Member and Deputy Director of the Shunde District Health Bureau; Wang Xiaoyu, Deputy Section Chief of the Medical Administration Division of the Foshan Municipal Health Bureau; He Chaofan, Deputy Director of the Foshan Municipal Medical Emergency Command Center; Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the HeYou International Hospital Group Management Committee and President of HeYou Hospital; and Zheng Qijin, Member of the HeYou International Hospital Group Management Committee and Vice President of HeYou Hospital.

This review strictly followed the "Guangdong Provincial Trauma Center Construction Unit Review Work Manual" and adopted a dual-track approach of "on-site defense + field verification" to comprehensively assess the overall strength of the hospital's emergency trauma center.

The expert panel first conducted a field verification in the Emergency Department, inspecting the department's layout and related equipment and facilities, such as bedside testing equipment, emergency CT, commonly used rescue instruments and medications, trauma emergency procedures, and the emergency operating room. They also checked the connectivity between the pre-hospital emergency system and the in-hospital emergency system.

During the review meeting, leaders from the municipal and district health bureaus and the Foshan Emergency Command Center provided guidance. Zhang Shengyi, Party Member and Deputy Director of the Shunde District Health Bureau, extended a warm welcome to the expert panel and highly commended the progress and achievements made by HeYou Hospital in trauma treatment.

▲ Zhang Shengyi stated that the construction of the HeYou Trauma Center is of great significance for safeguarding the lives of the public and hopes to drive improvements in the regional capacity for treating trauma patients.

Subsequently, Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the HeYou International Hospital Group Management Committee and President of HeYou Hospital, presented the construction work of the Trauma Center. He stated that the HeYou Trauma Center strictly adheres to provincial standards, integrating multidisciplinary resources including emergency medicine, critical care, orthopedics, and neurosurgery to build a "one-stop" trauma treatment system. He expressed hope that the experts would provide valuable guidance to help the hospital enhance its trauma treatment capabilities and deliver more standardized, rapid, and efficient medical services to trauma patients.

The review panel listened to a report from Zhang Ying, Director of the HeYou Hospital Trauma Center, on the overall progress of the center's establishment, reviewed the submitted project materials, and conducted a question-and-answer session and on-site defense.

The review panel fully acknowledged the achievements of our hospital's Trauma Center construction and provided recommendations for future work. Following unanimous approval by the review panel, Professor Yu Bin, Head of the Review Panel, announced that the HeYou Hospital Trauma Center had passed the on-site review for the "Guangdong Provincial Trauma Center (Tertiary) Construction Unit."

President Liu Xiaofang delivered a statement on behalf of the hospital. He noted that this on-site review served as a "comprehensive physical examination" and an "expert consultation" for the construction of our hospital's Trauma Center. Moving forward, HeYou Hospital will take this opportunity to earnestly incorporate the valuable opinions of the experts, further improve the emergency green channel, enhance the efficiency and quality of trauma treatment, and provide high-quality and efficient emergency medical services to the public.
