Forging Ahead, HeYou Delivers a Heartwarming Report Card in Its First Year
Li Li, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of HeYou International Hospital Group, stated at the ceremony that since its official operation on June 28, 2024, HeYou Hospital has always adhered to the hospital motto of “Upholding Integrity and Dedication, Protecting Life”, and is committed to providing patients with high-quality, affordable, and universally accessible excellent medical services.

In its first year of official operation, HeYou has provided outpatient services to approximately 340,000 patient visits. For complex and difficult cases, multi-disciplinary team consultations have offered patients more systematic and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans. Currently, the patient satisfaction score exceeds 96 points. The hospital has received over 700 pennants and letters of praise from patients or their families, with zero complaints about medical staff accepting red envelopes. The HeYou team adheres to clean medical practice, refusing red envelopes, ensuring that patients can seek medical treatment with dignity and doctors can practice medicine with dignity.
Quality Upgrade, Six Domains Open a New Chapter in Healthcare
Standing at a new starting point, HeYou Hospital has officially launched the Quality Medical Upgrade Plan, focusing on six key areas to embark on a new journey of high-quality development, aiming to provide patients with a superior medical experience:
Cutting-Edge Medical Technology Upgrade:
The highly anticipated Proton and Heavy Ion Center has entered the equipment beam commissioning phase and is expected to commence clinical verification in 2027.
As the first integrated proton and heavy ion therapy device in the Greater Bay Area and the second in China, the unique physical properties of proton and heavy ion beams, known as the “Bragg Peak,” combined with their sub-millimeter precision, will offer patients with almost all solid tumors, especially high-incidence cancers in Guangdong such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma and lung cancer, an internationally advanced treatment option characterized by precise targeting, high efficiency, non-invasiveness, shorter treatment courses, and fewer side effects.
Meanwhile, advanced equipment such as spinal surgery robots and joint robots will be introduced sequentially to enhance surgical precision. The successful performance of high-difficulty surgeries like lymphatic-venous anastomosis (for Alzheimer’s disease treatment) and off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting brings hope to more patients.
Smart Medical Service Upgrade:
Driven by artificial intelligence, an AI computing center will be built to comprehensively enhance diagnostic and treatment efficiency, accuracy, and the patient experience.
HeYou Patient-Benefit Service Upgrade:
Expanding evening clinics and specialized disease clinics; promoting public health screenings and cancer treatment assistance programs; launching a dog bite clinic in July and conducting the first air medical rescue drill to establish a three-dimensional emergency network; and continuing to deepen public welfare projects such as “Double Hundred Dream Fulfillment,” “He Feng Ren Xin Major Disease Support,” and “Orthopedic Special Project.”
Quality and Safety Assurance Enhancement:
With the “Hospital-Department Two-Level Responsibility System” at its core, a comprehensive quality management model covering the entire process and all elements will be established to build a strong safety defense.
Clinical Research Achievement Breakthrough:
Collaborating with Soochow University to establish the South China Clinical Center of the State Key Laboratory of Radiation Medicine and Radiation Protection, accelerating the translation of research results into clinical applications, providing solid support for the leap in medical standards.
External Cooperation Expansion and Deepening:
A substantive cooperation agreement has been reached with the Mayo Clinic in the United States, involving deep collaboration in areas such as quality and safety, hospital management, nursing systems, talent development, and informatization. The scope of cooperation will continue to expand in the future to achieve deep integration of global high-quality medical resources.
