As a vital component of the HeYou Comprehensive Cancer Center, the HeYou Proton and Heavy Ion Center is expected to commence equipment clinical validation in October 2026. The Comprehensive Cancer Center has been in full operation since June 2024. The center encompasses business modules including surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and precision/systemic therapy. By recruiting top-tier clinical, physics, and technical oncology professionals and deploying advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and technologies, it provides personalized, precise, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services aligned with international frontiers for cancer patients.

The Proton and Heavy Ion Consultation Clinic is led by Professor Lu Jiade, Vice President of HeYou Hospital and Director of the HeYou Comprehensive Cancer Center and Proton and Heavy Ion Center.
Professor Lu Jiade is a globally recognized authority in radiation oncology, a National Distinguished Expert, the Chief Scientist of a Key R&D Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and a Professor at the School of Radiation Medicine and Protection, Soochow University. He previously served as Vice President and Director of the Radiation Oncology Center at the National University Hospital of Singapore and as the former Executive Vice President of the Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Center. With nearly 30 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology, Professor Lu personally leads the multidisciplinary team (MDT) of the Comprehensive Cancer Center to conduct multi-dimensional assessments of patient conditions.
