Focusing on Humanistic Care, Embracing an International Perspective — Massachusetts General Hospital Training and Learning Exchange Successfully Held

       On the afternoon of April 1, 2024, HeYou Hospital held a training and learning exchange with Massachusetts General Hospital. Li Li, Director of the Management Committee of HeYou International Hospital Group, and Vice President Lu Jiade attended the meeting. Five staff members who had returned from training at Massachusetts General Hospital shared detailed insights on the development of international cutting-edge oncology services, patient-centered humanized diagnosis and treatment processes, service models and detail design, radiotherapy technology application and quality control, and the operational management of the Comprehensive Cancer Center.

After the sharing session, Director Li Li stated that the humanistic care philosophy of Massachusetts General Hospital is highly worthy of emulation by HeYou Hospital, particularly its patient-centered and medical quality and safety-first working principles. The hospital pursues excellence in clinical care, technology, and service, pays attention to details, continuously improves medical quality, and meets patients' diverse and reasonable needs while ensuring their safety. This exchange was jointly organized by the Department of Science, Education, and External Cooperation and the HeYou Center for Excellence in Oncology (hereinafter referred to as the Center). The Center comprises business modules including oncological surgery, radiation oncology, and precision oncology and pharmacotherapy. By recruiting outstanding oncology clinical, physics, and technical talent and equipping itself with internationally advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and technologies (such as proton and heavy ion radiotherapy technology),it is dedicated to building a high-precision platform for cancer prevention and treatment, providing cancer patients with personalized, precise, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services that are synchronized with international frontiers.
