Good news! Effective January 1, 2025, HeYou Hospital has officially become a “Guangdong Province Work-Related Injury Insurance Medical Service Agreement Institution,” providing outpatient and inpatient work-related injury medical services to local and intra-provincial non-local injured workers. Injured workers can now receive treatment at our hospital, and eligible medical expenses can be covered by the work-related injury insurance fund.

Becoming a work-related injury insurance medical service agreement institution is a significant initiative benefiting public welfare. HeYou Hospital will take this opportunity to strictly fulfill the work-related injury insurance service agreement, continue to uphold the “patient-centered” service philosophy, continuously improve the level of medical services, and ensure that injured workers receive timely and effective treatment.

Principles for Injured Workers Seeking Medical Treatment

1. Injured workers in our city should receive treatment for work-related injuries at a work-related injury insurance medical service agreement institution within Foshan City. In an emergency, they may first seek first aid at the nearest medical institution and, once the condition stabilizes, transfer to a work-related injury insurance agreement institution within Foshan City for treatment.

2. If an injured worker in our city needs to be transferred to a medical institution outside Foshan City due to medical condition limitations, the Foshan City work-related injury insurance medical service agreement institution (limited to institutions at level 2 or above) shall propose the transfer, fill out the “Guangdong Province Work-Related Injury Insurance Insured Worker Transfer and Referral Registration Form,” and complete the transfer and referral procedures within 60 days after obtaining approval from the social insurance agency at the insured location.

Note: Expenses incurred from an injured worker voluntarily transferring to a medical institution outside the city for treatment without the approval of the social insurance agency shall not be paid by the work-related injury insurance fund.

Work-Related Injury Insurance Medical Treatment Benefit Standards

1. Expenses incurred for treating work-related injuries that comply with the national and provincial work-related injury insurance diagnosis and treatment item catalog, work-related injury insurance drug catalog, work-related injury insurance hospitalization service standards, work-related injury rehabilitation item catalog, and work-related injury assistive device catalog shall be paid from the work-related injury insurance fund.

2. The meal subsidy for injured workers hospitalized for work-related injury treatment or rehabilitation shall be implemented at the standard of 50 yuan/day.

Note: After an injured worker completes treatment at a work-related injury insurance medical service agreement institution and settles the work-related injury medical (rehabilitation) expenses online, they can apply for the work-related injury insurance meal subsidy during hospitalization through “Yue Sheng Shi.”

Specific path: “Yue Sheng Shi” → [Foshan City] → [Social Security] → [Work-Related Injury] → [Work-Related Injury Protection] → [Work-Related Injury Insurance Benefit Application] → [Work-Related Injury Insurance Hospitalization Meal Subsidy Application]

Work-Related Injury Insurance Medical Expense Reimbursement

1. Hospitalization: When an injured worker is discharged and meets the conditions for online settlement (except for cases where work-related injury insurance premiums have not been paid according to law, involving third-party liability, or applying for work-related injury identification beyond 30 days), the injured worker or employer may bring the work-related injury identification certificate, social security card, and other documents to the work-related injury insurance medical service agreement institution for online settlement. If the injury has not yet been identified as work-related at the time of discharge, the injured worker may first negotiate with the hospital to arrange a credit procedure or pay the expenses upfront, and then proceed with online settlement after receiving the work-related injury identification certificate.

2. Outpatient: After an injured worker is identified as having a work-related injury, if the conditions for online settlement are met (except for cases where work-related injury insurance premiums have not been paid according to law, involving third-party liability, or applying for work-related injury identification beyond 30 days), the outpatient expenses incurred for treating the work-related injury at a work-related injury insurance medical service agreement institution in our city can be settled online at the hospital.

Note: If the conditions for online settlement are not met, the employer or the injured worker shall pay the full treatment expenses, and then apply for piecemeal reimbursement at the social insurance agency at the insured location with the required documents.
