Leveraging Accreditation Review to Build a New Ecosystem for Continuous Improvement of Medical Quality

This training, with the theme "Accreditation as an Opportunity, Improvement as a Lever," aimed to comprehensively enhance the scientific and standardized level of quality management at both the hospital and departmental levels by learning standards, identifying gaps, and strengthening implementation, thereby laying a solid foundation for the upcoming hospital accreditation. Director Hu Pingling focused on the dual main lines of "Accreditation and Improvement," centering on key clauses in the Implementation Rules such as hospital-department two-tier quality management, core systems and clinical diagnosis/treatment management, data management, and continuous improvement. Through a combination of theoretical learning and case analysis, the training helped participants better understand the key points of the accreditation standards.

Vice President Wang Jianming emphasized in his summary: "Accreditation review is not an 'exam-oriented project'; rather, it is about forming a closed-loop management mechanism of 'problem identification - cause analysis - continuous improvement' through the implementation of standards. Accreditation review is not the endpoint, but a means to establish a long-term mechanism of 'standards - execution - improvement,' allowing the quality culture to take root deeply. Tertiary hospital accreditation is not only a test but also an opportunity for comprehensive enhancement."
