Professor Xie Qingping's Studio Officially Established at HeYou Zhizhen Hospital

On June 23, the “Professor Xie Qingping Technical Exchange Symposium and Studio Signing, Awarding, and Unveiling” event was grandly held at HeYou Zhizhen Hospital. This collaboration aims to further promote medical technology innovation, deepen HeYou Zhizhen Hospital's domestic and international medical cooperation, and provide patients with higher quality and more efficient medical services.

Professor Xie Qingping is the global inventor of the Deep Cervical Lymphatic-Venous Anastomosis (LVA) surgical technique for treatingAlzheimer's Disease (AD), and also serves as the President of Hangzhou Qiushi Hospital and a Visiting Professor at the Cleveland Clinic (ranked second globally). During this symposium, Professor Xie delivered an insightful technical presentation, sharing his latest research findings and practical experience in the field of surgical treatment for Alzheimer's Disease. “Alzheimer's Disease is often referred to as a non-fatal cancer. Currently, over 700 AD surgeries have been performed worldwide, this procedure does not cure the disease but is primarily effective in alleviating symptoms.” emphasized Professor Xie.

Professor He Waiyi from Hong Kong Queen Mary Hospital and Professor Yukio Seki fromJuntendo University Hospital in Japan also engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest advancements and future trends of AD surgery, expressing their expectations for scientific research and clinical collaboration with HeYou Zhizhen Hospital in the fields of neurosurgery and Alzheimer's Disease treatment.

Professor Liu Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the HeYou International Hospital Group Management Committee and President of HeYou Hospital, stated in his address that Professor Xie Qingping, as the global inventor of the LVA surgical procedure for treating Alzheimer's Disease, will bring new technological breakthroughs and innovative vitality to HeYou Zhizhen Hospital.

Subsequently, Professor Xie Qingping's Studio and HeYou Zhizhen Hospital formally signed a cooperation agreement, marking the official launch of in-depth collaboration in the field of medical technology. President Chen Lian presented Professor Xie Qingping with the appointment letter for “HeYou Zhizhen Hospital · 2025 Chief Expert” and awarded the “Professor Xie Qingping's Studio” plaque.

Immediately following, Professor Xie Qingping, along with leaders and expert representatives from HeYou Zhizhen Hospital, jointly unveiled the “HeYou Zhizhen Hospital · Surgical Treatment Research Center for Alzheimer's Disease,” the “International Cooperation Alliance for LVA Surgical Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease · China Base,” the “China CLEAN-AD Clinical RCT Trial · Sub-Center,” and the “World LVA Surgical Treatment for AD Inventor · Professor Xie Qingping's Studio.”

Professor Xie Qingping expressed his expectations and vision for the establishment of the studio: “I am very pleased to join HeYou Zhizhen Hospital. With the studio established, we will strengthen cooperation with domestic and international experts and scholars to jointly explore new fields and new directions in medical technology.” Following this, the experts and scholars also conducted on-site ward rounds and surgeries.
