According to the "China Cardiac Arrest and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Report" (2022 Edition), the overall incidence of cardiac arrest in China is currently 97.1 per 100,000. As reported by CCTV, 1,500 people die from cardiac arrest every day in China! Learning emergency rescue skills and deploying AEDs are crucial for protecting our lives.
This year, on the occasion of the "May 8 Humanitarian Public Welfare Day," the Shunde District Red Cross, responding to the call of the Municipal Red Cross, is jointly launching a crowdfunding campaign for AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators). We aim to gather compassion online, promote charitable acts, and help save lives. We advocate that every public place and residential community be equipped with an AED. We earnestly seek support from all sectors of society to contribute your kindness to the "AED Saves Lives" project, deploying more AEDs in public places and communities across the district, training more Red Cross first responders, and weaving a strong network for self-rescue and mutual rescue in life-threatening emergencies.
I. Campaign Period

II. Project Scope
Activities will focus on Red Cross emergency rescue, deployment of AEDs in public places, disaster preparedness and relief, and other related areas, aiming to improve human living and development conditions and protect life and health.
III. Participation Methods
(A) Individual Participation: Scan or click the crowdfunding QR code (see attachment) → Click "Donate" below → Select or enter the donation amount → Click "Confirm Payment" → Enter the payment password to complete the donation.
(B) Team Participation: To invite colleagues from your organization to donate and track the total amount, click "Start My Team Fundraiser" below → Enter the initiator's name (usually the full name of the organization or group) → Click "Start Fundraiser" → Click "Share" on the right to save the donation QR code and send it to others or WeChat groups → Others scan the QR code to donate.
The golden four minutes are enough to save a life! Your act of kindness may save someone close to you.
